Founded in the early 1950s in İskenderun by Hüseyin Baydar, who was passionate about the mining profession, Teknik Maden Metal initially served the Chromite ore sector. Due to various reasons, it later shifted its focus to other ores such as Zinc, Lead, and Copper, continuing its service in the sector.
Contributions to the Mining Sector
The company, which has succeeded in becoming one of the significant brands serving within the Mining and Metal Sector, continued its journey under the name Teknik Maden ve Metal as a result of work carried out in 2004. By processing the raw ores extracted from its mines and choosing to export them abroad, it differentiates itself from other companies in the sector and simultaneously increases its contribution to the national economy. Today, the company exports its processed ores to many foreign countries, led by China, and has managed to become a respected brand among European countries. With its significant investments in the mining and metal sector domestically, the company has become one of the strongest brands in the sector today, also drawing attention with the number of personnel it employs.
