How to Charge an Electric Car?
Electric car charges can be classified into three different levels. It is clear that these levels also indicate the power outputs used while charging a vehicle, and thus the charging speed. In all levels, there are also types specially designed to manage the use of more or less power and AC or DC charging. To get information on this subject and to ask your questions, you can look at the relevant online companies on the internet pages and examine them in detail here.

Level 1
Level 1 charging, or as it is commonly known, home charging, is generally considered the easiest and most cost-effective way to charge an electric car. For Level 1 charging, no other equipment is needed except for a special power circuit that can only be used for charging electric vehicles. Whether in your garage or at your electric car's parking unit at home, you can charge it simply by plugging the cable into a designated electrical outlet. Level 1 charging is also done with a Level 1 EVSE cable, which has a standard three-pin household plug at one end to be plugged into an outlet and a standard J1722 connector for the vehicle at the other end. When plugged into a 120V AC outlet, charging rates vary between 1.4 kW and 3 kW. Depending on the battery capacity and condition, the charging time takes between 8 and 12 hours.
Level 2 and Level 3

Level 2 charging can generally be referred to as public charging. You can install or have Level 2 charging equipment installed at your home, or most Level 2 charging devices are found in locations where public institutions operate, such as parking lots, workplaces, and privately operated places. Level 2 charging devices, which require installation, also offer charging via a 240V AC plug. With a Type 2 connector with a charging rate of 7 kW to 22 kW, the charging process usually takes between 1 and 11 hours (depending on battery capacity). For example, charging a KIA e-Niro equipped with a 64 kW battery takes approximately 9 hours with a 7.2 kW Type 2 charger, depending on the charging station.
Level 3 charging can be described as the most practical way to charge electric vehicles. Although not as common or readily available as Level 2 charging units, Level 3 charging devices can be found in all densely populated settlements. Unlike Level 2 charging, some electric vehicles may not be compatible with Level 3 charging. Level 3 charging devices, which require installation, also offer charging via 480V AC or DC plugs. With a charging rate of 43 kW to 100+kW, the charging time using a CHAdeMO or CCS connector can take between 20 minutes and 1 hour. Both Level 2 and Level 3 chargers have connectors that are connected to charging stations.
